BACKGROUND:
As per WE-OMC/339/DC sent out on 2018-09-17, WE-OMC Member Bodies were requested to provide their comments no later than 2018-10-17. Comments were received and WE-OMC/357/CC was published on 2018-10-19.
Comments received were reviewed by SG 550 and their response to the comments is included in WE-OMC/357A/CC, which is being published as a separate document at the same time as this voting document. OD-501-7 Ed.1.0 includes the updated text based on the comments received and is being submitted for approval to the membership.

ACTION:
The WE-OMC Member Bodies to approve OD 501-7 ed.1 Conformity assessment and certification of Main Electrical Components by RECB, effective immediately. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat (secretariat@iecre.org) no later than 2019-02-01.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
