BACKGROUND:
SG550 drafted OD 550-1, which is being submitted for approval to the membership.
The following is an extract from the Minutes (WE-OMC/282/RM, item 9) taken at the 8th WE-OMC meeting in Glasgow, UK on 2018-04-19 & 20:
The SG 550 Convener informed the committee that OD-550-1 will go out for vote, not comment.
The revised OD 550-1 ed.4 for RECB qualification includes a differentiated approach for extending qualifications related to Project Design Certification and Site Suitability Assessment. The proposed content was discussed between the stakeholder groups, as well as with the Member Bodies during the WE-OMC meeting.

ACTION:
The WE-OMC Member Bodies to approve draft OD-550-1 ed.4.0, effective immediately. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat (secretariat@iecre.org) no later than 2018-06-17.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
