BACKGROUND:

At the 5th WE-OMC meeting in Juno Beach, Florida on 2016-10-24 & 25, Deutsche WindGuard Consulting GmbH was accepted as RETL for Power Performance.

In accordance with IECRE OD-500:2016, the Executive Secretary of the IECRE recommends approval, by the WE-OMC Member Bodies, of Deutsche WindGuard Consulting GmbH for Loads Testing.

See the test laboratory summary extension assessment report summary distributed separately as WE-OMC/169/EAR.

If approved by the WE-OMC, and as per the rules, the REMC will be requested to ratify the decision. It should be noted that, upon acceptance by the WE-OMC, the scope of Deutsche WindGuard Consulting GmbH will be extended to include Loads Testing.

ACTION:
WE-OMC Member Bodies to approve the extension of scope of RETL Deutsche WindGuard Consulting GmbH for Loads Testing as an RETL within the IECRE System.
WE-OMC Member Bodies are requested to vote on the approval no later than
2017-05-26.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted one week prior to the IEC deadline.
